The workshop will be held in Vienna, Austria, 13-14 September 2019 at the Acoustics Research Institute (ARI) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. The institute is located in the center of the city within walking distance to Karlsplatz U1 and U4 station. There is a seminar room available for up to 50 persons, which will be provided by the Acoustics Research Institute.

Getting there

The Lab of the Acoustic Research Institute (ARI) is equipped with state-of-the-art hardware for ultrasound tongue imaging (UTI), a loudspeaker array studio, electroencephalography (EEG), electroglottography (EGG), facial motion capture and also has a collection of historic hardware. This allows for a hands-on comparison of different current and historic SCR technologies, which will be demonstrated in a lab tour during the workshop.
